SMATCH – Animated Satire for Kick-Off

As part of the Kick-Off TV segment, I created the animated series SMATCH — a satirical cartoon that humorously critiques Cameroonian sports culture. Working from voiceovers provided by host André Mirabeau Mahop, I illustrated and animated each episode using Toon Boom Studio, then edited the sequences in Premiere Pro. The challenge was to deliver sharp, funny scenes under tight deadlines while staying true to the audio’s tone. The result: a playful yet insightful series that educates through laughter.
